IOB Apprentice Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have graduated with a degree in any field from an Indian government-approved university to be considered for the Apprentice positions. Alternatively, any comparable credential that the Central Government has approved is also accepted.
Age Limit (as of 01/08/2024):
In the case of the General and EWS categories, candidates must be no older than 28 years old by August 1, 2024, and must be at least 20 years old. According to criteria set forth by the Government of India, candidates belonging to the SC, ST, OBC, and PwBD categories are entitled for an upper age relaxation.
Application Fees by Category
- General/OBC/EWS: ₹800 is the application cost; an extra 18% GST is added to make the total ₹944.
- Female/SC/ST: Applicants falling under these categories must pay an application cost of ₹600, which is increased by 18% GST to total ₹708.
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, or PwBD applicants, must pay ₹400 in addition to 18% GST, for a total charge of ₹472.
IOB Recruitment 2024: Selection Process
The selection process involves two stages.
- Online Exam: A written exam must be completed online by all applicants. Your knowledge and abilities related to the Apprentice role will be evaluated on this test.
- Test of Local Language: If you pass the online exam, you will need to take an exam in the language of the region for which you are applying.
